Transdev in the UK

The UK is a key market for Transdev as it develops globally.

The group is a major London bus operator with London United and London Sovereign. Other members of the group include Bournemouth Transport Ltd, trading as Yellow Buses, and Blazefield, the Harrogate-based bus group whose subsidiary companies (Harrogate & District, Yorkshire Coastliner, Keighley & District, Lancashire United, Burnley and Pendle) cover much of West Yorkshire, North Yorkshire and Lancashire.

Transdev is a shareholding partner with the council in Nottingham City Transport (NCT), the award-winning bus company, and is also part of Arrow, the concessionaire company that designed and built Nottingham Express Transit, and in partnership with NCT has the contract to operate this new tram system.

Transdev is the recognised world leader in tram services. We currently operate tram networks in the UK, France and Portugal. Our extensive bus and coach networks include specialist services such as transport at high altitude ski resorts and airport ground transport.

Transdev's transport expertise extends into heavy rail through our EuRailCo partnership with the Paris Metro operator RATP. EuRailCo recently entered the German rail market by taking a majority stake in Trans Regio, a passenger train operator.
