RUGBY AND CONCERT SERVICES
The following are details of The Rugby Special Service operated by Transdev London on behalf of The Rugby Football Union.
Pre Match / Concert : A Shuttle Bus Service will operate from A316 near Old Deer Car Park close to Richmond Station, to the Stadium in Rugby Road (or as near as possible) up to 30 minutes before kick off. Buses run every 10 minutes or on demand. Fare 50p.
Post Match / Concert: A Shuttle Bus Service will operate from the Stadium in Rugby Road (behind North Stand) to the drop off point on the A316 close to Richmond Station. Also where indicated a service will run to Hounslow Bus Garage from Whitton Dene (by the North Car Park exit), for Piccadilly Line at Hounslow East. Both services will operate for 150 minutes after the final whistle. Fare Free.
Sunday 15th March 2009 – England v France – Kick Off 1500 hours
From the A316 close to Richmond Station commencing at 1200 hours. After the match a service will run to both A316 close to Richmond Station and Hounslow Bus Station for Hounslow East Station.
Saturday 21st March 2009 – England v Scotland – Kick Off 1500 hours
From the A316 close to Richmond Station commencing at 1230 hours. After the match a service will run to both A316 close to Richmond Station and Hounslow Bus Station for Hounslow East Station.
Saturday 18th April 2009 EDF Energy Cup Finals Day – Kick Off 1430 hours
Restricted service from A316 close to Richmond Station commencing at 0930 hours. Main service from the same location commences 1130 hours. After the match service will run to both A316 close to Richmond Station and Hounslow Bus Station for Hounslow East Station.
Saturday 2nd May 2009 – Army v Navy – Kick Off 1500 hours
From the A316 close to Richmond Station commencing at 1200 hours. A service will run to A316 close to Richmond Station only after the match.
Saturday 16th May 2009 – Guinness Premiership Final – Kick Off 1730 hours
From the A316 close to Richmond Station commencing at 1430 hours. After the match a service will run to both A316 close to Richmond Station and Hounslow Bus Station for Hounslow East Station.
Saturday 30th May 2009 – England v Barbarians – Kick Off – 1615 hours
From the A316 close to Richmond Station commencing at 1200 hours. After the match a service will run to both A316 close to Richmond Station and Hounslow Bus Station for Hounslow East Station.
Saturday 5th September 2008 – London Double Header – Kick Off – TBC
From the A316 close to Richmond Station commencing at TBC. A service will run to A316 close to Richmond Station only after the match.
Saturday 14th November 2009 – England v Argentina – Kick Off – TBC
